Adaptive Audio is a new feature available on the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) that dynamically blends Transparency mode and Active Noise Cancellation together based on the conditions of a user’s environment to deliver the best experience in the moment. It is a hybrid listening experience that gives a mix of Transparency Mode and full ANC to provide the best of both listening technologies in one place. Adaptive Audio includes "Adaptive Noise Control," which automatically adjusts the external noise you are exposed to by blending the noise cancellation and transparency levels. It also includes "Personalized Volume," which adjusts the media volume on your AirPods Pro (2nd generation) based on environmental conditions and your volume preferences. Lastly, there is "Conversation Awareness," which switches to transparency mode when you start talking and lowers your media volume. Adaptive Audio is available for both AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (Lightning) .
