AdSense for YouTube is a program that allows creators in the YouTube Partner Program to get paid for their content. To start getting paid on YouTube, creators need to set up an AdSense account from within YouTube Studio. Once the AdSense account is set up, creators can monetize their videos by displaying ads during their videos.
Here are the steps to set up an AdSense account on YouTube:
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- In the left menu, select the Earn tab.
- Click START on the Sign-up for Google AdSense card.
- When prompted, enter your YouTube account password and re-authenticate when required.
- Choose which Google account you would like to use for AdSense.
- Click Accept Association.
Once the AdSense account is set up, creators can navigate AdSense to view their earnings and payment information. AdSense payments for YouTube earnings are separated into their own payments account.
