An Amazon Locker is a self-service delivery location where customers can collect their Amazon packages securely and conveniently. When a package arrives at the locker, the customer receives a delivery confirmation email with instructions on how to pick up the package. To use Amazon Locker, customers need to follow these steps:
- Choose an Amazon Locker location near them. They can search by address or zip code to find a pickup location near them and then add it to their address book.
- When checking out their cart, make sure they have picked the Amazon Locker location.
- Wait for the delivery confirmation email sent to their email. The email will contain simple instructions for how to open the locker and retrieve the package. They may need a code, barcode, or the Amazon Shopping app to open the locker.
- Visit the locker, pick up the package, and they are done.
Amazon Lockers offer a variety of accessibility features, including talking lockers, larger and high contrast touchscreen text, and lower locker slot preferences. If a customer does not pick up their package within three days, Amazon will automatically return the item and refund them. Someone else can pick up the package for the customer at an Amazon Locker if they forward them the delivery confirmation email.
