Android System Intelligence is a system component within Private Compute Core that powers intelligent features across Android while keeping your data private. It is responsible for a variety of smart features, including Live Caption, Screen Attention, Smart Autorotate, improved copy and paste, and app predictions in the launcher. This system app monitors how you use your device and tailors an experience unique to you, making your device personalized. However, it is not necessary for basic phone functionalities. Android System Intelligence collects crash logs, diagnostics, and device identifiers for the purpose of application analytics, but analytics data collection is optional and can be controlled through the phones settings. While Android System Intelligence is a core system component that runs in the background of Android devices, it is not available on every Android device, and some features may be limited to newer versions of Google Pixels.
