Call forwarding is a feature that allows you to forward your mobile calls to another phone number, including another mobile phone or a landline phone. When call forwarding is turned on, your mobile phone wont ring when you receive a call. Instead, the call will be sent directly to the phone number that’s receiving your forwarded calls. This feature is especially useful when you are traveling or when you want to remain available even if you’re not physically sitting at your desk.
To set up call forwarding on an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and select "Phone."
- Tap "Call Forwarding."
- Toggle the switch to turn on call forwarding.
- Enter the phone number you want to forward your calls to.
- Tap "Call Forwarding" at the top of the screen to save the change and return to the previous screen.
It's important to note that call forwarding is automatic once you turn on the feature and enter a number to direct your calls to. All calls go directly to the new number, and you don't need to do anything else.
