Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is a student assessment system that was mandated by the Right to Education Act of India in 2009. It is a process of evaluating all aspects of a student's development, including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, throughout the school year. The CCE system was introduced to provide students with practice from a young age for board exams and to decrease the workload on students by replacing marks with grades evaluated through a series of curricular and extra-curricular evaluations along with academics. It aims to assess various learning outcomes and is comprehensive in nature, covering both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The purposes of CCE include the development of new and effective teaching strategies, regular assessment to understand students' progress, and the encouragement of self-assessment among students
