Cred Flash is a buy now pay later (BNPL) service offered by the Indian fintech platform CRED. It allows customers to make payments on the app and across more than 500 merchant partners, and users can clear the bill at no extra charge within 30 days. Cred Flash also allows users to make bill payments and recharges. The service is backed by Parfait Finance, an RBI-registered non-banking financial company (NBFC) . Cred Flash is the second lending service available on the app, along with CRED Cash, a personal loan offering. The tap-to-pay feature is another new feature offered by CRED, which allows users to make payments through their credit cards on their phones with a tap. The feature is first rolling out to NFC-enabled Android smartphones and will require members to unlock their phone before they tap on the merchant’s PoS machine.
