In Grand Theft Auto V, the Deathwish option is one of the three possible endings of the games last mission. It is considered the canon ending since all three main characters, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, are supposed to survive in the end. The Deathwish option allows the three main characters to join forces, hunt down the game's antagonists, and seek revenge. Choosing the Deathwish option will result in a final mission called "The Third Way".
