DECA is a not-for-profit career and technical student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA offers a variety of programs and resources to its members, including:

  • Classroom Integration: DECA brings the classroom to life by providing authentic, experiential learning methods to prepare members for college and careers.

  • Competitive Events: DECAs competitive events let members experience what it's like to be a business professional. They can be grouped into three broad categories: role-plays and case studies, prepared events, and online simulations.

  • Membership Benefits: DECA membership provides students with the opportunity to participate in DECA's high school programs at the local, chartered association, and international levels. Members can put their classroom learning to the test by participating in DECA's Competitive Events Program, which offers a competitive event for every course and every member.

DECA is governed by four primary bodies: the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, the National Advisory Board, and the National Officers.
