D.Va is a character developed by Blizzard Entertainment for their Overwatch franchise. She is a tank hero in Overwatch, and one of the 21 heroes included in the games release on May 24, 2016. D.Vas mech is nimble and powerful, and she is there to hold and capture objectives. In Overwatch lore, D.Va is a pro-eSports gamer named Hana Song from Busan, South Korea, and within the Overwatch narrative, the Korean governments Mobile Exo-Force of the Korean Army (MEKA) recruits her. In English-language media, D.Va is voiced by Charlet Chung.
Apart from the Overwatch character, DVA can also refer to Debit Valuation Adjustment, which reflects the credit risk of the bank writing the contract.
