A government is a system or group of people governing an organized community, generally a state. It is responsible for creating and enforcing the rules of a society, defense, foreign affairs, the economy, and public services. The government is usually composed of three branches: legislative, executive, and judiciary. The legislative branch is responsible for making laws, the executive branch is responsible for enforcing laws, and the judiciary branch is responsible for interpreting laws. Different forms of government exist, such as monarchy, oligarchy, democracy, autocracy, communism, and socialism. The Constitution of a state defines the modality of designation, missions, and the powers granted to the members of the government. Each country and state has its own rules regarding the formation, powers, and rules related to the government and its members.
