The second digit (7) indicates that the system is "protected against short periods of immersion in water while under pressure between 15cm and 1m". Products with an IP67 rating provide more protection than those with IP65 or IP66 ratings, which are merely "water-resistant". An IP67 rating means that the product can withstand water hose and jet sprays and can sustain momentary water immersion in depths of 150mm to 1000mm up to 30 minutes maximum.
