Kia Connect is a paid subscription OEM infotainment and telematics service offered by Kia Motors America on select vehicles for the United States market. The system allows users to make hands-free calls on their smartphone, stream music, navigate to a POI, and perform vehicle diagnostics with the use of voice commands. The integrated in-vehicle communications and entertainment system is developed by Kia Motors and other third-party developers.
Kia Connect was first launched in the 2011 model year as Kias UVO entertainment system, which included HD radio, CD player, and a built-in digital jukebox. The system also interfaces with Bluetooth-enabled phones and utilizes touchscreen and voice command technology. Users are able to access the vehicle data on the smartphone application and through a customer web portal.
Kia Connect offers a range of packages to suit different lifestyles, and it unlocks the full potential of your Kia. The different packages include Kia Connect Voice Assist, which allows your vehicle to search online for your POIs, instead of using the in-vehicle's offline search. Kia Connect also provides access to remote features and services that enhance your ownership experience, such as monitoring your Kia's location, driving time, distance, and top speed using the Kia Connect In-App Services.
Kia Connect may be currently unavailable for Model Year 2022 and newer vehicles sold in Massachusetts. Purchase/lease of certain 2022 and newer Kia vehicles with Kia Connect includes a complimentary 1-year subscription to Kia Connect Ultimate, the most comprehensive Kia Connect package, starting from the new vehicle retail sale/lease date as recorded by the dealer. After the complimentary 1-year Kia Connect Ultimate subscription expires, continued access to the full suite of Kia Connect features available on your Kia will require a paid subscription at the then-current subscription rate.
