The LSU stadium is called Tiger Stadium, which is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on the campus of Louisiana State University. It is the home stadium of the LSU Tigers football team. The stadium has a seating capacity of over 100,000 fans and is nicknamed "Death Valley". The nickname "Death Valley" was originally given to the stadium by LSUs former coach, Paul Dietzel, in the 1950s, after the legendary Clemson University stadium of the same name. The stadium has been the site of many exciting moments in LSU football history, including the 2007 national championship season and the 2003 national title run.
