Luliconazole cream is an antifungal medication used to treat skin infections caused by fungi or yeast. It is used to treat ringworm of the body (tinea corporis), ringworm of the foot between the toes (interdigital tinea pedis, athletes foot), and ringworm of the groin (tinea cruris, jock itch) . Luliconazole cream works by killing the fungus or yeast or preventing its growth. It is for external use only and should not be taken by mouth. The cream should be applied to the affected area and about 1 inch of the skin around it once a day for 1-2 weeks, depending on the type of infection being treated. It is important to use the cream exactly as directed by a doctor and to continue using it even if the symptoms improve. If the cream is stopped too soon, the infection may not be completely cured and the symptoms may return.
