. Persuasive speaking is very connected to the audience, as the speaker must, in a sense, meet the audience halfway. Persuasion involves ethos (credibility), logos (logic), and pathos (emotion), and the art of convincing others is propelled by reasoned argument, which might consist of facts, statistics, personal testimonies, or narratives
