Project 2025 is a plan to reshape the U.S. Federal government in the event of a Republican victory in the 2024 United States presidential election. It is the effort of a broad coalition of conservative organizations that have come together to ensure a successful administration begins in January. The project aims to pave the way for an effective conservative administration based on four pillars: a policy agenda, Presidential appointments, legislative strategy, and agency reform. Organized by the Heritage Foundation, Project 2025 has brought together over 70 conservative organizations that are ready to get involved in the effort. The plan aims to dramatically reshape federal agencies, reduce their independence, and give more power to the president. However, the project has been criticized for its anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric.
