Rebirth Island is a map available for Call of Duty: Warzone. It was released on December 16th, 2020, as part of Season One of content for Call of Duty. Rebirth Island is a reimagined version of Alcatraz from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It is a Battle Royale map that is slightly bigger than Docks in Warzone. Around 40 players drop on Rebirth Island, and the gameplay changes depending on the game mode selected. One of the frequent playlists is Resurgence Trios, which takes place on Rebirth Island. This game mode changes gameplay by allowing players to revive their teammates if they stay alive for a brief period. Players will constantly spawn back into the map, creating intense situations as the map shrinks.
Rebirth Island is about starting fast, and players want to be the first team on the ground with weapons or the last team to jump from the helicopter, with an emphasis on catching an enemy squad off guard. The Prison Block roof in the center of the island is the most coveted location on the map, and players should have a relatively easy time defending it, so long as they communicate effectively. There are several new areas on Rebirth Island such as the ships, a new water tower to the north of Prison Block, and even a revamped section on the south side called Stronghold.
