Rotary is an international organization of local clubs whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards, and promote goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary International is one of the largest service organizations in the world, with a global network of 1.4 million members in over 46,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary members volunteer their skills and resources to solve issues and address community needs, and they work together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, save mothers and children, support education, grow local economies, and protect the environment. Rotarians meet weekly for fellowship and interesting and informative programs dealing with topics of local and global importance.
