Sebastian is a character in Disneys 1989 animated feature film "The Little Mermaid". He is a red crab with a Jamaican accent who serves as King Triton's court composer and is voiced by Samuel E. Wright. Sebastian is one of the main protagonists in the movie and is known for his musical numbers, including the popular "Under the Sea". Despite some confusion over whether Sebastian is a crab or a lobster, he is definitely a crab. In the upcoming live-action adaptation of "The Little Mermaid," Sebastian will be voiced by Daveed Diggs.
