SPARSH (System for Pension Administration (RAKSHA)) is a web-based system implemented by the Ministry of Defence to manage the pension sanction and disbursement process for defence pensioners. It is an automated pension sanction-cum-disbursement system managed centrally by the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions) . The system handles digital pension cycle functions such as initiation and sanction, distribution, revision, and grievance request management. The SPARSH portal is used to transfer the pension amount to the bank account of defence pensioners. The system is designed to ensure financial security for defence pensioners and their families. The system is also used to initiate family pension (IFP) .
