Storefront by DoorDash is an initiative that helps restaurants create websites and directly manage online pickup and delivery orders. It is a commission-free online ordering system for restaurants that allows them to set up direct online ordering for their business and turn their website visitors into customers, without paying commissions or monthly fees. With Storefront, restaurants can receive and manage orders through their DoorDash tablet, POS system, or however they choose to process online orders. They can also integrate with loyalty or gift card programs to gain loyal customers.
To set up Storefront for online ordering, restaurants can sign up for DoorDash and get started with DoorDash Marketplace. Storefront is included in all partnership plans. If a restaurant is already on DoorDash, Storefront uses the same menus and hours as their DoorDash Marketplace listing. Any changes made will be applied to both the DoorDash Marketplace listing and the Storefront.
The DoorDash Storefront is compatible for direct integration with select POS providers. When a local business opens a DoorDash storefront, it automatically accesses the digital ordering platform. DoorDash does not charge any service fees, so there’s no risk to the restaurant’s profit margins. The DoorDash support team will work with the restaurant from store setup through pickup order fulfillment and make sure every step of the experience lives up to standards.
