SummerSlam is an annual professional wrestling event produced by WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) since 1988. Often called "The Biggest Party of the Summer," it is considered WWE’s second biggest event of the year after WrestleMania and is one of the company's "Big Five" events, alongside WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank.
