In "Modern Warfare 3," Tactical Stance, also known as "Tac Stance," is a new aiming option designed to provide a middle ground between hip-fire and aiming down sights. It offers improved mobility speed and visibility over looking down a scope, while avoiding the wide bullet spray of firing from the hip. This feature is best used at close distances, allowing players to react to an enemys presence faster and with more precision than the other two aiming options. The tell-tale sign of aiming with Tactical Stance is that the weapon will be at a slanted angle, with a tighter crosshair appearing on the screen. It is automatically active once you enter the game, and the command to activate it will differ depending on the platform youre playing on and the way youve set up your Tac Stance in settings. Players can adjust their Tactical Stance settings in the gameplay menu within the main settings page, where they can find options to alter how Tac Stance works for them, including the activation and behavior of Tactical Stance.
