TGL is a new golf league created by TMRW Sports, a venture formed by sports executive Mike McCarley and professional golfers Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, in partnership with the PGA Tour). The league will launch in January 2024 with six teams, each consisting of three PGA TOUR players, competing in a two-hour team golf competition. The league will focus on technology, innovation, and fan engagement, and will feature a data-rich virtual course with a state-of-the-art short game complex. The league will be played in a purpose-built venue at Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach, FL. The league will be broadcasted live in front of a live audience, and each broadcast will be two hours long. The league will feature 15 matches, each lasting two hours and played in primetime on Monday nights, making up the regular season. The semi-finals and a final match will be held at the end of the season).
