The 40/40 Club is a chain of sports bars and lounges owned by Jay-Z. The name is borrowed from the baseball term for the exclusive group of Major League Baseball players who have achieved the rare individual feat of 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a single season. The first 40/40 Club opened in New York City in 2003, and there are now locations in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Brooklyn, and Atlanta. The decor of The 40/40 Club is a mix of memorabilia from the USAs greatest games, and the "Hall of Fame" connects the main floor with the upstairs VIP rooms and houses autographed jerseys donated by various sports celebrities.

Becoming a member of the 40-40 club is an elusive achievement in modern American baseball, as very few players possess both the power to hit 40 home runs and the speed to steal 40 bases in a season. Generally, a player with the strength to hit 40 home runs will not have the speed necessary to steal 40 bases. Only four players have reached the 40-40 club in MLB history, and none have done so more than once. The most recent player to join the 40-40 club is Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves.
