The cost to renew a passport varies depending on the type of passport and the method of renewal. If you are renewing your passport by mail, the fees for adults (16 and older) are as follows:
- Passport Book: $130
- Passport Card: $30
- Passport Book & Card: $160
If you need to expedite your renewal, there is an additional fee of $60. Additionally, if you want your passport delivered in 1-2 days, there is a fee of $19.53. These fees are paid directly to the U.S. Department of State.
If you are renewing your passport in person at a passport agency or center, the fees are the same as above, but you may also need to pay an execution (acceptance) fee of $35 to the passport acceptance facility.
