The national anthem of Spain is called "La Marcha Real" or "The Royal March." It is one of the few national anthems in the world that has no official lyrics. Although various unofficial and historical lyrics have been written over the years, none of these are officially recognized, and the anthem is officially played as an instrumental piece only.
There are some proposed unofficial lyrics for "La Marcha Real," but none have been formally adopted by the Spanish government.
