Timon is a meerkat character from Disneys 1994 animated feature film "The Lion King" and its franchise. He is a wisecracking and carefree character who serves as the comic relief in the film. Along with his best friend, Pumbaa the warthog, Timon teaches Simba the motto "Hakuna Matata," meaning "no worries". Timon and Pumbaa also starred in their own spin-off television series, "The Lion Kings Timon & Pumbaa". In the 2019 CGI remake of "The Lion King," Timon was voiced by Billy Eichner.
