It played a significant role in mobilizing young voters, including those who supported former President Donald Trump. The group also maintains initiatives like a Professor Watchlist, opposing what it sees as leftist propaganda on campuses, and supports conservative candidates in student government elections. The late Charlie Kirk was the public face of the organization until his death in 2025 during a campus event. Turning Point USA continues to be active, hosting large events and outreach campaigns nationwide.
