Uber Comfort is a ride option offered by Uber that provides riders with newer, spacious cars and experienced drivers. It is designed for riders who want a little extra comfort and convenience, such as more legroom, preferred temperature, and the ability to request a quiet ride. Some key features of Uber Comfort include:
- Newer vehicles: Uber Comfort provides newer vehicles with proper legroom.
- Experienced drivers: Uber Comfort drivers are highly rated and experienced.
- Service preferences: Riders can let their driver know in advance whether theyd prefer to chat or not, and choose from 4 temperature presets, directly from the app.
- Extended pickup periods: Riders using Uber Comfort will have up to 10 minutes before they can be charged for a driver-initiated cancellation fee.
- Higher fares: Uber Comfort fares are higher than UberX fares, but eligible drivers with Uber Comfort can make more money per trip than with UberX.
To request an Uber Comfort ride, riders can open the app and enter their destination in the “Where to?” box. Once they confirm that their pickup and destination addresses are correct, they can select Comfort at the bottom of the screen and then tap Confirm Comfort. Once they’ve been connected with a driver, they’ll see their driver’s picture and vehicle details and can track their arrival on the map.
