A UPI PIN (Unified Payments Interface Personal Identification Number) is a 4 or 6-digit code that you need to set for each bank account to enable UPI payments on any app, including PhonePe. It is a unique password used to authenticate and authorize UPI transactions. It is different from an ATM PIN and an MPIN. An ATM PIN is a 4-digit code used to authenticate debit card payments and cash withdrawals from ATMs, while an MPIN is a passcode used to authenticate mobile banking payments like IMPS and NEFT. You can set or reset your UPI PIN through the settings of the respective UPI-enabled app or through your bank's UPI interface
