In chess, WFM stands for Woman FIDE Master, which is one of the official titles given by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) exclusively to women chess players. It is the third-highest ranking exclusive to women after the Woman Grandmaster and the Woman International Master titles. To attain the WFM title, a woman player must achieve a FIDE classical rating of at least 2100 and have played at least 30 rated games. Once a player is awarded the WFM title, it is held for life. On Chess.com, a player with the WFM title can be identified by the letters "WFM" next to their name.
