what killed doc holliday

Doc Holliday died of tuberculosis in his bed at the Hotel Glenwood in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on November 8, 1887, at the age of 36. Tuberculosis had been the cause of his severe late-stage debilitation and his death. Despite his fame and notoriety, Doc Holliday left this earth destitute. Although there are legends surrounding his death, such as the possibility of him being killed by a derringer pistol, these are not supported by historical evidence.
