The most qualified professionals to administer intelligence (IQ) tests are licensed psychologists or school psychologists. These professionals have the required training, education, and credentials to properly administer, score, and interpret intelligence tests. In some cases, licensed clinical or counseling psychologists, who typically hold at least a master's degree with specific coursework or a doctorate in psychology, are the only ones authorized to conduct these assessments. School psychologists, certified by their state, can also administer IQ tests and interpret results in an educational context. Other professionals such as social workers, psychiatrists, or employees without psychology credentials usually do not have the necessary qualifications to administer these tests accurately.
