There are several strikes happening in October 2023, affecting different lines and services. The following lines are affected by the strikes:

  • Tube: Bakerloo Line, Central Line, Circle Line, District Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Jubilee Line.
  • National Rail: Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway, LNER, TransPennine Express, c2c, Greater Anglia, GTR (Gatwick Express, Great Northern, Southern, Thameslink), Southeastern, South Western Railway, Chiltern Railways, Northern Trains, West Midlands Railway.
  • London Underground: RMT workers are striking on October 4 and October 6, but this is not believed to have a direct impact on other services that rely on RMT workers.

Its important to note that some services, such as Elizabeth line, London Overground, DLR, and trams, are not on strike. However, all services, including buses, will be much busier than usual, so its recommended to plan ahead, check before you travel, and allow extra time to complete your journey. Additionally, walking or cycling part of your journey is also an option.
