To find out the model of your iPhone, you can follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > General > About.
- To the right of Model Number, youll find the part number. To find the model number, tap the part number.
- If you have an iPhone 8 or later model that has a SIM tray, remove the SIM tray and look in the slot. The model number is on the upper side of the slot.
- If you have an iPhone that supports only eSIM, look in the Lightning or USB-C connector. The model number is on the upper side of the connector.
- If you have an iPhone 7 or earlier, an iPad, or an iPod touch, find the model number on the back of your device.
- Alternatively, you can find the model number of your iPhone by checking the back of the phone itself in fine print. The A model number is printed on the back of pre-2017 iPhones.
- If you have a newer iPhone, you can find the A model number in the Settings app. Open Settings and go to General > About. Tap once on Model Number to reveal the phones A model number.
- You can also find your iPhones model name on the same screen.
