Sean "Diddy" Combs was sentenced to 50 months (4 years and 2 months) in prison for his conviction on two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution. In addition to the prison sentence, he was fined $500,000 and ordered to undergo five years of supervised release. Combs apologized in court, calling his actions "disgusting, shameful, and sick," and expressed remorse to his mother, children, and the victims, specifically naming his two ex-girlfriends, Casandra Ventura and "Jane." The judge emphasized the need for a substantial sentence to convey accountability for violence against women. Combs will receive credit for the 12 months he has already served in custody since his arrest in September 2024. His lawyers announced plans to appeal the sentence.
