Cam Newton is currently a free agent. He played for the Carolina Panthers for most of his career, primarily as their quarterback, and was nicknamed "Superman" and "Super Cam". He also played for the New England Patriots in 2020. In 2021, Newton lost his starting QB seat in the Patriots to Mac Jones and was later released by them.
