To have a smooth and successful SAT test day, you should bring only a few things:
- Face covering
- Admission ticket: You must have your admission ticket on test day. You can print it from My SAT and bring two copies.
- Photo identification: You must present acceptable photo identification (ID) for admission to the test center. A valid driver’s license, passport, or ID from your current school is acceptable.
- Two No. 2 pencils with erasers: You can bring more than two if you want.
- Calculator: Make sure it is an approved calculator.
- Water bottle: You can bring a water bottle, but you can only drink from it during breaks.
- Snack: You can bring a snack for the break.
- Sweater: You can bring a sweater in case the testing room is cold.
It is recommended that you leave other things at home to avoid any issues on test day. You should also get a good nights sleep, exercise, eat a healthy breakfast at home, and arrive at the test center before 7:45 am.
