what type of cells would have more mitochondria than others

Nature

Cells that need a lot of energy, like muscle and liver cells, have more mitochondria than cells with low energy demands, like many skin or fat cells, and red blood cells have none at all. In the body, cardiac (heart) muscle cells are among those with the highest mitochondrial content because the heart contracts continuously and cannot afford an energy shortage. Liver cells also contain thousands of mitochondria per cell to support constant metabolism and detoxification, while many blood cells and simple lining cells manage with far fewer.
