Goodwill accepts a wide range of items as donations, including clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, kitchenware, dishes, pans, knickknacks, decorative items, toys, games, puzzles, sports gear, books, records, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, cassettes, small furniture, area rugs, small household appliances, tools, cars, boats, other motor vehicles, computers, computer accessories, copiers, and fax machines. Additionally, Goodwill accepts electronics such as CPUs, flat-screen monitors, hard drives, laptops, cell phones, VCRs, DVD players, and working flat-screen TVs (no CRTs) . However, there are certain items that Goodwill cannot accept, including large furniture, mattresses, box springs, waterbeds, large appliances, televisions, hazardous materials, guns, knives, ammunition, and building or construction materials. Its important to ensure that donations are clean, safe, and in good condition, as Goodwill employees may decline items that are not in saleable condition.
