when are flu shots available in alberta

Flu shots in Alberta for the 2025-2026 season will be available starting October 15, 2025. Albertans can pre-order their influenza vaccines beginning August 11, 2025, through the Alberta Vaccine Booking System, which helps with planning and availability. The provincial Fall 2025-26 Immunization Program officially begins on October 20, 2025. Appointments can be booked through pharmacies, Alberta Health Services clinics, or online via the Alberta Vaccine Booking System. The flu shots will be offered through to the end of March 2026 and are recommended for everyone 6 months and older.
