when did alcaraz turn pro

Carlos Alcaraz turned professional in 2018 at the age of 15. He played his first professional tennis event as a qualifier in February 2018 at the Spain F5 ITF Futures tournament in Murcia, where he earned his first ATP points and entered the rankings. His ATP Tour main-draw debut came later, in February 2020, at the Rio Open when he was 16 years old.
