Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first met on a blind date in July 2016. They were introduced by a mutual friend, and their initial connection actually started through Instagram before their first in-person meeting. Meghan has said that the most important thing to her was that Harry was kind, and Harry quickly realized there was something special between them after just a couple of dates. Following their first date, they went on back-to-back dates in London and soon grew very close, including a trip to Botswana a few weeks later where their relationship deepened.
