Prophet Muhammad died on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal in the year 11 AH, which corresponds to June 8, 632 CE. He passed away in the city of Medina at the age of 63. His death occurred on a Monday, and he was buried in the chamber of his wife Aisha, now part of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet’s Mosque) in Medina.
