The last survivor of the Titanic was Millvina Dean. She was only nine weeks old when she was aboard the Titanic and later became the youngest passenger and the last living survivor of the sinking. Millvina Dean died on May 31, 2009, at the age of 97 in a nursing home near Southampton, England. Her death coincided with the 98th anniversary of the Titanic's hull launch on May 31, 1911.
