when did valorant come out

Valorant was officially released on June 2, 2020, for Windows PC via Riot Games' proprietary launcher and the Epic Games Store. The game initially launched as a 5v5 multiplayer tactical shooter and later expanded to consoles with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases in mid-2024. Valorant Mobile is set for release starting with a beta in China in August 2025, with a global mobile release date not yet announced
