Lorelai and Luke officially get together in season 5 of Gilmore Girls. Their first official date is in episode 3, "Written In The Stars," where Luke reveals he kept a fake horoscope Lorelai wrote for him when they first met. After this date, they begin their romantic relationship. Before this, they had a long friendship that started years before the show, but it is not until season 5 that they are officially a couple. They also share their first kiss in the season 4 finale episode "Raincoats and Recipes" after Luke finally asks Lorelai out following a series of emotional moments between them.
