Polls in New York City generally close at 9:00 PM local time on Election Day, and you must be in line by 9:00 PM to vote. If you’re in line when polls close, you’re still allowed to cast a ballot. Polls open at 6:00 AM and stay open until 9:00 PM, with early in-person voting available in the days leading up to Election Day.
